A number of new aero-engines made their debut at the "China Core" Shining Air Show

CCTV News:Aeroengine is called the jewel in the industrial crown because of its high complexity and great difficulty in development. At this year’s China Air Show, several exhibition areas were set up, including military aviation power, commercial aviation power, general aviation power and unmanned aerial vehicle power, and a variety of new aero engines were exhibited.

CCTV reporter Li Xia:At the booth of China Hangfa, the first thing I saw was this "Taihang" engine. Taihang series engines are domestic large-scale military aviation turbofan engines. This one on display is the latest development type of Taihang engine. This engine has two key words: large thrust and afterburner. This is also the first appearance of this new engine.

After watching the military engine, the civil engine at this air show is equally eye-catching. Let’s look at this CJ1000A in the center of the booth. It is an engine specially used for medium-sized civil airliners. It can be installed on single-aisle passenger planes with about 160 seats, such as Airbus 320, Boeing 737 and our domestic passenger plane C919.

In addition, the smaller engine next to it is the CJ2000 engine, which is a scale model, so it looks smaller, but in fact its real machine is bigger than the one next to it. This engine is specially developed for dual-channel long-range wide-body passenger aircraft, which has the characteristics of low fuel consumption, low emission, low noise and high reliability.

After seeing the large engine, let’s look at the small one. For example, the one I have at hand is called CTF-3 turbofan engine. We can see that its painting and modeling are very exquisite. Its thrust is 650 kg, which can be used for high-altitude and high-speed drones and aircraft.
