Can "Gemini Man" or a theater with a loss of $75 million be upgraded?

Special feature of 1905 film network With the release of, the slogan of "recognizing frames and watching movies" three years ago was shouted again.

According to the number of frames, there are three categories of this film in China: 24 frames, 60 frames and 120 frames. The 120-frame version is divided into two versions: Dolby Cinema which can play 2K definition and CINITY Cinema which can play 4K definition.

Both the cinema and the audience are expecting the performance of this film. But the day after its release, Ang Lee’s new film dropped from the single-day box office champion to the third place. The proportion of film arrangement on Monday also fell below 20%.

Someone has calculated an account for this action film with an investment of $140 million: judging from the current global box office revenue, Gemini Man may eventually lose $75 million. Among them, the estimated 200 million RMB box office in China has been regarded as the support of domestic audiences and cinemas for "An Shu" to make movies with heart.

On the second day of its release, Gemini Man fell from the single-day box office champion to the third place.

At present, there are 30 CINITY cinemas in China that can show 120 frames, 4K and 3D versions of Gemini Man. Three years ago, there were only one cinema in Shanghai and one in Beijing that could show the highest standard version, and the screening equipment was dismantled after the film went offline and was not used for long-term cinemas.

Before "Gemini Man" this year, CINITY version has been produced, and it enjoys a separate ranking number, which ranks alongside IMAX and China Giant Screen.

More and more subdivided screening types and different cinema formats have made the screening market blossom, and the construction of cinemas is quite hot. Among many new cinemas, IMAX Hall and Dolby Cinema have become standard. So is it possible for Gemini Man to be regarded as a tipping point, so that the emergence of new cinemas will become a breakthrough in the next round of cinema upgrading and screen number growth?

"Twenty years ago, when I first entered the business, we only had 1,800 effective screens. The annual box office of China movies is less than 900 million, and most cinemas are closed. " Yu Dong, president of Bona Film, who started from distribution, said that the development of China films in the past 20 years could not be separated from the hard work of the whole industry of production, distribution and projection.

He believes that in today’s era, there must be a new format to invite the audience back to the cinema from the hands of short videos: "At this time, we are facing the impact of the small screen era and the challenges brought by massive videos. If the cinema does not strengthen its theater effect, we will be overwhelmed by these massive short video small screens."

In fact, the last round of "self-help action" in cinemas happened to be 10 years ago. The release of "IMAX3D" has made 3D movies extremely popular, and people have entered theaters one after another. It is even harder to get a ticket for this visual blockbuster version of IMAX 3D. A cinema investor recalled that in 2007, there were only 82 3D screens in China, and in August 2009, the number increased to 330, which was surprising: "At the end of 2009, there were more than 600 3D screens in China, while there were only more than 1,000 3D screens in Asia at that time, and China accounted for more than half."

It is understood that the ordinary screen plays 3D movies because the brightness is not enough, so it is necessary to increase the power of the projection lamp, but it is easy to cause the xenon lamp to be damaged due to too high load. Therefore, when showing 3D movies, cinemas often choose metal screens with brightness coefficient above 2.0. Many screens in those days were not metal screens, so it is urgent to upgrade if you want to show 3D movies.

With the popularity of Avatar, many studios have been upgraded. Some insiders recalled the impact of Avatar screening on the domestic screening industry: the screening equipment in first-tier cities has already led the market. The popularity of Avatar, the box office profit created by the 3D version, and the first domestic 3D martial arts film of Avatar, these three reasons made the second and third tier cities with slightly backward hardware conditions complete the hardware upgrade of cinemas.

After that, China also entered a period of rapid growth in the number of screens. By 2018, the number of screens in China has reached 60,000, of which more than 50,000 can show 3D movies. It can be said that the chain reaction triggered by a film has accelerated the upgrading and development of the whole industry several times.

"Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk" promotes cinema upgrade.

Since the screening of Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk, we seem to have seen a new round of cinema upgrade. In 2016, when this 120-frame, 4K and 3D film was shown in the Mainland, although the highest version only had two screens to show, there were about 20,000 screens that could show the 60-frame version. According to a user on the Q&A platform, the current projection equipment can show 60-frame versions, but many cinemas can only show 24-frame versions because of the old servers instead of projection equipment.

Companies in the field of film projectors and other equipment production also introduced on the Q&A platform: the main requirement for high-format projection is the processing power of the server. At present, mainstream media servers in the digital film industry can support 4K resolution and high frame rate of 120fps, but these two indicators cannot be met at the same time.

Recalling the release and screening of Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk in China, Yu Dong said: "We made a box office of 170 million. Many cinemas have been upgraded, and all the cinemas that can show up to 60 frames have been fully upgraded in that round. " However, he believes that it is difficult to establish a huge screening system with the help of one company.

This time, the lead is the Chinese film with 120 frames, 4K and 3D platforms, and behind it is the strength of 19 enterprises and institutions. In addition to several major film groups and studios, Huaxia Film’s shareholders also include several major domestic cinema companies such as New Film Association, Lianhe Cinema and Pacific Cinema. Therefore, when Gemini Man was released, it was supported by three cinemas, namely Jinyi, Bona and Wanda. There were 30 screens in China, which could show the highest standard.

Ang Lee and Fu Ruoqing (first from right) appeared in the post-screening activities of Gemini Man.

Fu Ruoqing, chairman of Huaxia Film, said that due to equipment supply problems, 100 screens could not be rolled out as scheduled before the release of Gemini Man, but the cinema has placed an order for 100 CINITY cinemas. He said: "When Gemini Man was released on the 18th this year, CINITY had about 30 screens in 18 cities that could be released on the 18th as scheduled. By the end of October, there will be nearly 50 screens and 100 screens by the end of the year."

So from the current point of view, in the three years from Billy Lynn to Gemini Man, the studios in China have been upgraded on the digital server. But at present, a CINITY cinema system has reached 5.5 million. For cinemas, the funds are huge. Fu Ruoqing believes that digital projection is a normal digital product in about five to six years. He has a favorable attitude towards the film investment company, the cinema and the film management company to continue to upgrade their projection equipment.

However, the fares of Gemini Man CINITY Cinema, Beijing and Shanghai have reached about 200 yuan; The fare in Hangzhou is higher than that in 100 yuan; Fuzhou even has a special ticket from 50 yuan. For first-tier cities, high-format movies still have high ticket prices.

In this regard, Fu Ruoqing also said that CINITY’s early development costs a lot, and hopes that it will drive down the overall cost in the future: "We also hope that the cost of shooting it by more people will drop, and the overall shooting quality will rise. Therefore, it is also a key thing to improve the overall quality of China’s film industry. I think it should be a very good thing. " It is understood that director Chen Kexin is shooting at a high frame rate.

"China Women’s Volleyball Team" was shot in high frame rate format.

From this point of view, compared with the upsurge of cinema upgrading and construction driven by Avatar, the high screening cost of 120 frames, 4K and 3D cannot be the motivation for the new round of renovation and upgrading of cinemas. But it has a far-reaching impact on the upgrading of screening quality. At the moment when the home entertainment system is constantly upgrading, cinemas really need to develop more top-level audio-visual experiences in order to attract the audience to the cinema.

In the new era, the China research bank and the Yangtze River have basically formed a modern "golden waterway"

Xinhua News Agency, Wuhan, July 1st Title: The trunk line of the Yangtze River has basically formed a modern "golden waterway"

Xinhua News Agency reporters Hui Xiaoyong, Xu Haibo and Li Siyuan.

With a throughput of 3.59 billion tons, there are 15 large ports with a capacity of 100 million tons, and navigation and trade with more than 100 countries or regions … … In recent years, the development of shipping in the Yangtze River has entered the fast lane, and the trunk line of the Yangtze River has basically formed a "golden waterway", constantly promoting the high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.

At one time, the coastline and ports of the Yangtze River were occupied and abused indiscriminately, occupied but not used, occupied more and used less, and used extensively, and the advantages of the Yangtze River in water transportation were not fully exerted. In order to solve this problem, in recent years, the provinces and cities along the Yangtze River and the relevant institutions in the Yangtze River basin have adhered to the problem orientation, systematic policy, and addressed both the symptoms and the root causes. The regulation of the Yangtze River coastline has been comprehensively promoted, 1,361 illegal docks have been completely rectified, illegal sand mining has been basically eliminated, illegal shipping has been rectified, the coastline has been reshaped, and green ecological corridors on both sides of the strait have gradually taken shape.

Li Jiang, deputy director of the Yangtze River Waterway Administration of the Ministry of Transport, said that the navigation capacity of the Yangtze River has been significantly improved, and the trunk lines have basically formed a modern "golden waterway". The high-grade waterway of the trunk branch of the Yangtze River has a mileage of tens of thousands of kilometers, and 50,000-ton seagoing vessels directly reach Nanjing, 10,000-ton vessels directly reach Wuhan, 3,000-ton vessels directly reach Chongqing and 2,000-ton vessels directly reach Yibin, thus forming a water expressway that connects Sichuan, Chongqing, Hunan, Hubei, Jiangxi and Anhui, and reaches Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai. At present, there are 15 100-million-ton ports along the Yangtze River trunk line.

On June 30th, Wuhan Yangluo Port, containers piled up like a mountain, gantry cranes and bridge cranes kept rising and falling, and a liner full of auto parts and other goods was preparing to set sail for Busan, South Korea. Not far away, the hot metal combined transport station, a Central European train full of electronic products, honked its horn and set off for Europe. Today, Yangluo Port has achieved "shipping eastward into the sea and trains westward into Europe". In 2022, the container throughput exceeded 2 million TEUs.

Smooth the "aorta" and clear the "capillary" simultaneously, and the large, medium and small ports are organically connected to expand the "width" of the Yangtze River. According to statistics, the navigation mileage of the Yangtze River system is about 70,000 kilometers, accounting for 70% of the national inland navigation mileage.

Huangshi City, Hubei Province, which is "the city because of the port", has set up Huangshi New Port in order to make the "golden coastline" get the "golden income", jumped out of the single port mode, and actively built a comprehensive transportation hub by integrating the advantages of regional roads, railways, waterways and aviation. In 2022, the throughput reached a record high of 29.3 million tons. Huangshi New Port is building eight berths of 20,000 tons, which will become the largest single port in the middle and upper reaches of the Yangtze River after it is put into operation.

Like Huangshi New Port, more and more railways, highways and ports are "hand in hand". According to statistics, 15 major ports along the Yangtze River have realized railway entry. River-sea combined transport, hot metal combined transport and other multimodal transport set up a three-dimensional comprehensive traffic corridor in the Yangtze River.

On June 18, 2023, the ship passed through the Three Gorges Lock and the ship lift in an orderly manner. (photo by Wang Gang)

The navigation capacity of the Three Gorges Shiplock has been further improved. Since its opening in 2003, it has passed over 990,000 ships, 1.91 billion tons of cargo and more than 12 million passengers in 20 years. Fill a 40-foot container with 1.91 billion tons of goods, which can circle the equator 22.4 times.

Shore power coverage, garbage landing, wharf improvement, ecological waterway … … While the freight volume is increasing, green shipping is also advancing steadily. At the Mao Ping Cruise Terminal in Zigui Port, upstream of the Three Gorges Dam, although there is no pungent smell of diesel oil or engine roar, the tourist passenger ships docked here are brightly lit by shore power. With a touch of the mobile phone, a ship will soon come to receive garbage and wastewater, and then it will be transported ashore through seamless docking, and finally zero pollutants from the ship will enter the river.

Water express, industry prosperity. According to the statistics of the Yangtze River Waterway Bureau, in 2022, the throughput of trunk lines of the Yangtze River reached 3.59 billion tons, and the total economic output of provinces and cities along the Yangtze River Economic Belt accounted for 46.5% of the whole country, an increase of 1.4 percentage points over 2015, forming five world-class industrial clusters of electronic information, high-end equipment, automobiles, household appliances and textiles and garments.

Wechat pulled people to gamble, and the agent of this platform was arrested.

Cctv news(Reporter Li Wenxue, reporter Li Zicheng, Zou Qiangqiang) Recently, the Criminal Investigation Brigade of Yi ‘an County Public Security Bureau in Qiqihar City successfully cracked a case of opening a casino by using a network platform and arrested a suspect.

At present, Wu Moumou has been criminally compulsory by the public security organs for allegedly opening a casino, and the case is under further investigation.

You’re not working, you’re working! —— Remember Wang Yicheng, a researcher at Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences

Xinhua News Agency, Hangzhou, December 14th Question: you are not working, you are working hard! — — Wang Yicheng, a researcher at Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences

Xinhua News Agency reporters Fang Wenyu, Wei Yijun and Tang Tao.

On September 15th, Hall 1 of Hangzhou Funeral Home was solemn and silent. Among the endless stream of mourners, there are many pig farmers who have come from Wenling and Shangyu, and there are uncontrollable sobs from time to time in the team.

The person who made them cry was Wang Yicheng, a researcher at Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences. At 10 o’clock on the morning of September 12, Wang Yicheng died of illness in Hangzhou at the age of 60.

Wang Yicheng, what kind of existence is it?

In the 1980s and 1990s, he went abroad to study twice. Faced with the generous promise of overseas retention, why did he resolutely return to China?

Engaged in basic scientific research for nearly 20 years, why did he choose to move to the front line of production and deal with sick pigs?

How can such an excellent example be known only after its death?

With these questions, we approach Wang Yicheng’s ordinary and touching life.

Wang Yicheng (former) led the students to inspect the grass-roots pig farms (photo, taken in August 2013). Xinhua news agency

He is an "old returnee" who has been engaged in basic scientific research for nearly 20 years, but he chose to go out of the laboratory and go to the "main battlefield of production" — —

On the night of December 31, 1999, at the intersection of two millenniums, people on earth were jubilant.

Facing the bright fireworks, Wang Yicheng hurried to a sick pig farm in Xiasha, Hangzhou. Diagnosis, isolation, disinfection and transshipment, the on-site "general commander" who was on the verge of death was busy until two o’clock in the morning the next day.

At this moment, parents, lovers and sons who are looking forward to it at home have mixed feelings: this Millennium Eve is still Wang Yicheng’s first birthday after studying abroad.

This is also a turning point in Wang Yicheng’s 35-year scientific research career.

After graduating from Zhejiang Agricultural University in 1982, Wang Acheng came to the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Research Institute of Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences. In the first half of his scientific research career, he engaged in basic research on the prevention and control technology of parasitic diseases and infectious diseases in livestock and poultry.

Xu Ziwei, former vice president of Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, is Wang Yicheng’s old leader and has worked together for 30 years. When he first met Wang Yicheng in 1987, he was impressed as a "fashionable young man" with a broad vision. He not only made innovations in scientific research, but also learned foreign languages, driving and computers.

In 1980s and 1990s, Wang Yicheng studied in Melbourne University, Australia and Arkansas Medical University, USA, and his research results such as "Study on RNA Transcription Mechanism of Coronavirus" were published twice in top international virology journals.

At that time, domestic animal molecular biology research had just started, and the technology brought back by Wang Yicheng’s study abroad played a leading role. He is also the founder and leader of animal molecular biology in Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences.

At the end of 1990s, large-scale pig breeding in Zhejiang Province developed rapidly, and the prevention and treatment of pig diseases became the top priority affecting the industrial development. However, there was a shortage of clinical diagnosis talents for pig diseases in the first line of production.

Considering the first-line situation of animal husbandry in Zhejiang, Wang Yicheng, who has been engaged in basic scientific research for a long time, decided to go out of the laboratory and go to the "main battlefield of production".

Everyone in the scientific research circle knows that doing basic research has a better chance to publish articles and become famous more easily.

"This was requested by Wang Yicheng on his own initiative. He didn’t consider his personal gains and losses at all." Bao Guolian, director of the Animal Husbandry Institute of Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, said.

As a result, Wang Yicheng picked up the "scalpel" and never put it down.

He told the students that basic research can be focused by national scientific research institutes and institutions of higher learning, and local agricultural academies are more suitable for serving production and grassroots. Everyone does basic research. What about farmers who don’t know technology?

In the second half of his career, Wang Yicheng spent most of his time in pig farms and laboratories.

In the past 20 years, Wang Yicheng has served more than 1,000 large-scale farms in Zhejiang Province, dissected tens of thousands of dead pigs with his own hands, tested more than 50,000 specimens (times) and detected 400,000 serum antibodies (times), which has repeatedly curbed the spread of animal diseases that may cause major epidemics.

Wang Yicheng, who has been grounded all the year round and connected with production, finally became a "master" and became recognized as "the first person to prevent and treat pig diseases in Zhejiang".

He is a "living map" of Zhejiang pig farms and a "database" of pig disease epidemic prevention experiments. He applied advanced foreign genetic engineering vaccines to prevent and treat pig diseases and made important breakthroughs in genetic engineering vaccines against pig Escherichia coli and recombinant pig interferon. He presided over 20 major and key projects in Zhejiang Province, published more than 100 papers and won 9 provincial and ministerial awards.

The bookcase in Wang Yicheng’s office is full of books related to pig disease, but there is also a thick Clinical Diagnosis of Sheep Disease.

How does "pig doctor" study sheep disease? It turns out that with the transformation and upgrading of Zhejiang’s aquaculture industry, many sheep farmers in Zhejiang have also found Wang Yicheng in recent years. So he began to learn to treat sheep.

Wang Yicheng (second from right) explains the experiment of interferon fermentation to students at the Institute of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences (photo, taken in May 2012). Xinhua news agency

He is a gentle scholar who loves life, but he plunged into the pile of dead pigs and became the "patron saint" of pig farmers — —

In the hearts of farmers in Zhejiang, Mr. Wang is as kind to them as a mountain.

Ruan Zhangfeng, a pig farmer in Shangyu, burst into tears: In the end, I still can’t repay Teacher Wang.

In 2004, Ruan Zhangfeng’s father died suddenly. In his twenties, he took over the farm and more than 6 million yuan in bank debt unprepared. To make matters worse, there was an epidemic in the farm that year, and more pigs died every day than were sold.

Almost desperate, Wang Yicheng, a stranger, gave a helping hand. At that time, Wang Yicheng came to see a doctor every week. In the end, the fledgling Ruan Zhangfeng survived, and now his farm has more than 20,000 pigs, with an annual output value of more than 60 million yuan.

"For more than 10 years, he has never charged me a penny for medical treatment, and even a decent meal has not been eaten here." Ruan Zhangfeng said that every time Mr. Wang comes, he avoids meals. If he happens to catch up, he will come back after eating in the expressway service area and go straight to the pig farm.

Your elegant smile is still clear in your mind, and your elegant comment on farmers … … In an interview, Li Haihong, deputy director of Haiyan Animal Husbandry Bureau, couldn’t stop crying. She said that grassroots farmers like Mr. Wang because he is the most useful at the grassroots level.

According to the interviewees, Wang Yicheng is almost an "iron man" and "perfect man".

Colleagues said that Wang Yicheng went to work first and left last every day for more than ten years. The students said that Mr. Wang is hands-on and meticulous; Farmers said that as long as there are difficulties, Mr. Wang is responsive and rain or shine.

One summer day in 2014, Wang Yicheng fell asleep in a chair in the laboratory. "Iron Man" can’t hold it anymore? Surprised, colleague Yuan Xiufang quietly took the door of the laboratory.

What Yuan Xiufang didn’t know was that Wang Yicheng’s body had been overloaded for four months: because his 90-year-old father was seriously ill, he stayed in the hospital for more than four months and worked as usual during the day. Just the day before, he drove to Jiangshan city, nearly 300 kilometers away, to deal with the epidemic, dissected 10 dead pigs, and drove back to Hangzhou that day to continue to accompany the night.

On another occasion, Wang Yicheng drove to a pig farm in Xiaoshan after work. When he got home late at night, his clothes were all wet. It turned out that because it was raining hard, Wang Yicheng mistook the pond for the road and drove into the pond.

In the face of his crying lover, Wang Yicheng ignored him and said that it would be good to send the car for maintenance … …

The old mother once complained: Why are you so busy every day? You are not working, you are working hard! Wang Yicheng replied that if you want to make achievements in scientific research, you must fight like this.

In fact, Wang Yicheng, who devoted himself to his work and dealt with sick pigs for more than ten years, was once a refined and decent scholar who loved life.

During his study abroad, Wang Yicheng took many photos. Sydney Opera House, Melbourne Zoo, endless highways, street band … … On the back of the photo, he recorded the time and place in English. Italic English is as elegant as the person in the photo.

Wang Yicheng’s lover said that it’s not that there are no good shirts at home, but he thinks that the pig farmers will have a sense of distance from him, and they will get used to ordinary clothes over time. Although life is very simple, he has always enjoyed such simplicity.

"Behind many farms is the hope and future of a family, and a pig is probably the living expenses of a family for one year … …” When Wang Yicheng was seriously ill in hospital and said goodbye to his body, his lover had a deeper understanding of this sentence through contact with farmers.

This is a research note written by Wang Yicheng before his death (photo taken on December 11th). Xinhua News Agency reporter Weng Yushe

He is the most hidden model, hiding his merits and fame, and willing to be a "behind-the-scenes hero" — —

For decades, Wang Yicheng has been "private car for public use", driving more than 600,000 kilometers, and never reimbursing tolls and gasoline fees; Serving farmers, he personally worked overtime and was dusty, but insisted on free visits; He insisted on taking only the average when distributing bonuses within the research group.

Based on the achievement of "research on the transcription mechanism of coronavirus RNA", Wang Yicheng had no problem getting a doctorate, but he said, "What do I need that for?"

Bao Guolian said that Wang Yicheng was not only indifferent to fame and fortune, but also passed on his technology and experience to his peers to apply this technology to the detection of diseases such as poultry, rabbits and cattle. Every week, he has a regular meeting with the research team in the laboratory to spread molecular biology technology and make the team and academic ideas succeed.

After decades of hard work and innovation, Wang Yicheng, such an excellent typical figure, was not known until he died.

As an old leader, Xu Ziwei also feels guilty.

In fact, Wang Yicheng is an old and advanced animal husbandry institute, but every time the institute recommends him, he refuses again and again.

"When evaluating the advanced, Teacher Wang always refuses." Lv Yuli, secretary of the Party branch of the Animal Husbandry Institute of Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, said that Wang Yicheng is a member of the jury, and it is not enough for the organization to give him a comment without telling him.

The unit is doing a "micro-party class", and the student Li Junxing talks about "Wang Yicheng, a good party member around him", but the photos used are all taken by Mr. Wang while doing experiments, wiping instruments and repairing equipment.

This behind-the-scenes hero wants to completely hide his fame and achievements until the end of his life.

In May 2016, one month after being diagnosed with gastric cancer, only the doctor and himself knew the condition.

In that month, he finished the final report of all the research projects, recorded the experimental data in the laboratory, explained the unfinished matters to the members of the research group, and made a follow-up plan for the farmers who have been doing technical guidance … … It was not until his illness deteriorated to the point where he could not eat that he took time off from work to inform his family.

On August 28 this year, Tang Yong, secretary of the Party Committee of Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, visited the hospital. One thing told by Wang Yicheng’s lover made him burst into tears: Wang Yicheng actually begged his wife to open a death certificate in the hospital because he was worried that many people would visit after surgery and affect his work.

This is the work photo of Wang Yicheng in the office of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Research Institute of Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences (data photo, taken in June 2012). Xinhua news agency

He is a pure scientific and technological worker, full of childlike heart, and interprets the feelings of home and country with his life — —

In the late 1990s, Arkansas Medical College wanted Wang Yicheng to stay in the United States and applied for a three-year visa for his family to stay.

"We are also worried that he won’t come back, but others are still in the United States, so I asked my lover to take a message: keep your post until I come back." Xu Ziwei recalled.

"I remember when I visited relatives in the United States, I asked if you ever wavered, because the laboratory conditions in the United States were super good at that time. You said: From a personal point of view, the United States is the top of biotechnology, and the laboratory conditions are good and the starting point is high, so it is easy to produce results. But I always think that I am Chinese, and the biotechnology in our country was far from the United States at that time. As a scientific and technological worker trained by the state, I was very anxious. " Wang Yicheng’s lover recalled this conversation with her husband.

In 1999, without any conditions, Wang Yicheng returned to China and quietly returned to the laboratory. In May, 2000, it became party member prepared by the Chinese Communist Party.

Wang Yicheng’s lover recalled that after returning to China, Wang Yicheng built a first-class laboratory of Animal Husbandry Institute of Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences with the least money. After many days and nights, Wang Yicheng excitedly reported: I have done experiments in our own laboratory that can only be done in the United States.

What is the weight of party member’s identity in Wang Yicheng’s heart? Li Junxing said that during his illness, Mr. Wang entrusted his students to pay party dues. When the students come to visit, Wang Yicheng will also ask if he has paid the party dues.

"He is a returnee. He could have stayed abroad, lived a rich and comfortable life with luxury cars and luxurious clothes, but he chose to return to China because of the lack of animal husbandry talents in Zhejiang; He could have engaged in basic research, written papers, published monographs and become a master, but he chose the first line because pig farmers needed him; He can also choose to get rich first by going to the acupuncture point to get a red envelope, taking a part-time job as a consultant, and taking a drug rebate for a visit, but he does not want to defile Gao Jie’s soul and does not ask for it. "

Tang Yong said that Wang Yicheng regards the needs of the motherland, his career and the needs of the people as his own needs. His belief is rock-solid, his career is more important than life, his service is above everything else, and his fame and fortune are as light as water.

Xu Ruhai, director of the Pig Breeding Office of Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, said that Wang Yicheng is worthy of the title of intellectual. He has pride and set an example for intellectuals.

In recent years, 5G, industrial Internet, data center, etc. have been widely sought after, and new infrastructure construction has ushered in a "window". The Government Work Report calls for strengthening the construction of new infrastructure, developing a new generation of information networks, expanding the application of 5G and building data centers. Then, where is the "new" new infrastructure, what is its value, and how to accelerate it? The reporter conducted an interview on this.

  New infrastructure, new direction

New infrastructure mainly includes information infrastructure, integration infrastructure and innovation infrastructure.

"At present, it is in the centralized control room of the small train, and the working face of the air inlet lane is in normal condition." A video call "takes" the 5G network and calls from 534 meters underground; In the inoue dispatching center, a huge electronic screen displays the miners’ coal mining scene in real time, and the underground gas concentration, temperature and humidity and other indicators are unobstructed. In Xinyuan Coal Mine of Shanxi Yangmei Group, the combination of 5G and industrial Internet has made this traditional coal mine realize intelligent evolution.

Compared with the ground base station, the underground conditions of coal mine are complex, so it is impossible to use satellite positioning system to accurately serve time. Wei Chunhui, chairman of China Mobile Shanxi Company, said that through joint research and development with Huawei and other companies, the peak rates of data upload and downlink of underground base stations reached 1,100 megabits per second and 300 megabits per second, respectively, and the transmission delay was less than 20 nanoseconds. The underground scene was like the ground. Up to now, China Mobile has built and opened 140,000 5G base stations, striving to achieve the goal of 300,000 by the end of the year ahead of schedule.

As an important part of the new infrastructure, the new generation of information technologies such as 5G and industrial Internet are being accelerated. So, what is the new infrastructure and where is the "new"?

Not long ago, the National Development and Reform Commission defined the scope of new infrastructure, and proposed that "new infrastructure" is an infrastructure system that is guided by new development concepts, driven by technological innovation, based on information networks, and provides services such as digital transformation, intelligent upgrading, integration and innovation for high-quality development needs. Wu Hao, director of the Innovation Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, said, "Compared with traditional infrastructure, new infrastructure mainly includes information infrastructure, integration infrastructure and innovation infrastructure."

New infrastructure and new information. "The infrastructure generated by the evolution of next-generation information technologies such as 5G, artificial intelligence and industrial Internet constitutes the information infrastructure." Li Yizhong, president of China Federation of Industrial Economics, believes that new infrastructure is an important support for the development of new industries.

New infrastructure focuses on integration. "Deeply apply technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence to the transformation and upgrading of traditional infrastructure, and then form a converged infrastructure." For example, Feng Yuan, deputy director of the Institute of Industrial Economics of the National Research Center for Industrial Information Security Development, said that "smart highways" are being built in many areas to support autonomous driving by setting up 5G communication technology and equipment, thus accelerating the digitalization of traditional industries.

New infrastructure highlights innovation. In Feng Yuan’s view, the new infrastructure also includes the infrastructure with public welfare properties that supports scientific research, technology development and product development. Its outstanding feature is innovation, and it is more inclined to the field of basic science and technology, which is conducive to providing surging momentum for economic development and industrial transformation and upgrading.

  New infrastructure, new value

Helping enterprises reduce costs and increase efficiency is conducive to stabilizing investment, increasing employment and promoting high-quality development.

Telecommuting is in the ascendant, online services are convenient for life, and online education is in full swing … … The vigorous development of new formats and new models cannot be separated from the support of new infrastructure construction.

"Compared with traditional infrastructure, new infrastructure also has the function of stimulating investment and steady growth, but its incremental space and radiation-driven effect will be stronger." Zhou Zhongfeng, director of the comprehensive office of the Industrial Economic Research Center of China Federation of Industry and Economics, said.

Strengthening new infrastructure will help enterprises reduce costs and increase efficiency.

On April 20th, Alibaba Cloud, a cloud computing service provider, announced that in the next three years, it will invest another 200 billion yuan for the research and development of major technologies such as cloud operating systems, servers and chips and the construction of future-oriented data centers.

"Re-adding cloud computing stems from the improvement of data processing capacity and cost reduction it brings to enterprises." Liu Song, vice president of Alibaba Group, explained with a set of data. Before cloud computing, the traditional minicomputer was not only expensive, but also a large maintenance fee. "With the help of Feitian big data platform, last year ‘ Double 11’ At the peak, the processing capacity reached 544,000 transactions per second, while the transportation cost was reduced by 20%. "

Strengthening new infrastructure can accelerate industrial optimization and upgrading.

In May, the regional industrial interconnection platform built by Aerospace Cloud Network in Guizhou launched a new round of functional iteration. By constructing and improving the industrial map, the government departments can timely understand the distribution of key industrial products in the province and the supporting relationship of the industrial chain, and at the same time, it is convenient for enterprises to obtain reliable product sources in one stop. Today, the platform has settled in nearly 3,000 enterprises, covering over 7,000 products.

"Up to now, the main platform of regional industrial Internet has been built for 19 provinces, providing more than 2,000 intelligent projects and services for aerospace, automobile, energy and other industries, effectively helping the digital transformation of the industry." Yu Liang, chairman of Aerospace Cloud Network Technology Development Co., Ltd. said.

Strengthening new infrastructure can also inject new kinetic energy into economic growth.

In the short term, new infrastructure will play a role in stabilizing investment, promoting consumption and stabilizing employment. Liu Duo, president of China Information and Communication Research Institute, said that taking 5G as an example, according to estimates, by 2025, China’s investment in 5G network construction will reach 1.2 trillion yuan, creating about 3 million jobs. It is estimated that by 2030, the direct output and indirect output driven by 5G will be 6.3 trillion yuan and 10.6 trillion yuan respectively.

Statistics show that the investment-driven multiplier effect of next-generation information technologies such as 5G, artificial intelligence and industrial Internet is as high as 6 times. It is estimated that by 2025, new infrastructure will create an industrial scale of 8.3 trillion yuan for China’s information consumption.

In the long run, accelerating new infrastructure meets the requirements of high-quality economic development. "Understanding new infrastructure depends not only on how much economic growth can be stimulated in the short term, but also on the new opportunity of a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation." In Zhou Zhongfeng’s view, the new infrastructure pays more attention to the long-term effects of restructuring, promoting innovation and supplementing shortcomings. "Once we have the first-Mover advantage in the new round of global scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation, it will help to enhance the initiative of industrial development."

  New capital construction, new ideas

Accelerate data sharing, introduce diversified investment and strengthen technological innovation.

At present, the new infrastructure is still in its infancy. How can we make it enter the "fast lane" of development?

Let the data value shine — — Accelerate data sharing and empower transformation and upgrading.

"China is already one of the countries with the richest data resources in the world, and the role of data in improving the production efficiency of all walks of life is increasingly prominent." Liu Song believes that to speed up new infrastructure, we should strengthen the concept of data as a factor of production and enhance the value of data elements in new infrastructure. Yu Liang suggested that on the one hand, it is necessary to promote safe and reliable data solutions around data collection, transmission, storage, analysis and utilization, and accelerate the formation of the technology chain and industrial chain of industrial big data; On the other hand, we should speed up the open sharing of data according to laws and regulations, and use big data to help transform and upgrade the manufacturing industry and improve the governance capacity of government departments.

Let the sources of funds increase — — Increase government investment and introduce social capital.

New infrastructure projects generally have the characteristics of large investment intensity and long return period. Li Yutao, an associate researcher at the Comprehensive Transportation Research Institute of China Macroeconomic Research Institute, believes that although the new infrastructure has strong characteristics of public goods, the core is still technological innovation, which requires the active participation of social forces. "While doing a good job in policy guidance and stabilizing the construction of funds with fiscal and taxation policies, we should open more to social capital, stimulate the enthusiasm of private investment, and form a diversified investment and financing system."

Make innovation stronger — — Attach importance to personnel training and strengthen technological innovation.

Strengthening new infrastructure must focus on the long-term and long-term achievements. Yu Liang believes that we should speed up the cultivation of compound industrial talents needed for new infrastructure and give full play to the role of talents in promoting the development of new industries. Zhou Zhongfeng believes that at present, China’s original innovation is relatively weak. The next step should be to support enterprises to increase the intensity of R&D investment and encourage enterprises to actively expand downstream application fields such as 5G, artificial intelligence and big data, including car networking, intelligent manufacturing, telecommuting, smart cities, etc., and seize the opportunity of industrial development to become bigger and stronger.

To strengthen new infrastructure, planning must also be scientific and orderly, so as to avoid "a swarm of bees" and "a gust of wind". Many experts suggest that we should speed up the introduction of new infrastructure implementation rules and form a national "chess game". We should classify policies according to the actual situation in different regions and the maturity of technological development in different industries to avoid problems such as redundant construction and low-end development of high-end industries. Note that your housing provident fund may have gone up!

Zhongxin. com, July 29 (Zhongxin Finance reporter Li Jinlei) On July 28, "Beijing’s housing provident fund deposit ceiling was greatly raised" was on the hot search.

The reporter of Zhongxin Finance and Economics noted that since July 2022, the deposit base of housing provident fund has been adjusted in many places, and the upper and lower limits of the new deposit base have been clarified. Many people’s housing provident fund has also ushered in an increase.

Adjust the upper and lower limits of the housing provident fund deposit base in many places

At present, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and other places have adjusted the upper and lower limits of the housing provident fund deposit base.

Among them, the Beijing Housing Provident Fund Management Committee Office issued a notice on the 28 th. Since July 1, 2022, the upper limit of the annual housing provident fund deposit base for 2022 housing provident fund is 31,884 yuan; The minimum monthly deposit base is 2320 yuan.

The upper limit of the monthly deposit amount corresponding to the deposit ratio of each housing provident fund in Beijing.

The upper limit of the deposit base is 3,663 yuan higher than 28,221 yuan in 2021. If the deposit ratio is 12%, the maximum monthly deposit can be 7652 yuan, of which the unit and individual each pay 3826 yuan, and the monthly deposit amount is 878 yuan higher than the upper limit of last year. If the minimum deposit is 5%, then the upper limit of the monthly deposit is 3188 yuan, of which the unit and individual each pay 1594 yuan.

In addition, the maximum deposit base of Shanghai housing provident fund and supplementary housing provident fund is not more than 34,188 yuan, and the minimum is not less than 2,590 yuan. The upper limit of the monthly deposit of the housing provident fund is 4,786 yuan, and the lower limit is 362 yuan according to the deposit ratio of 7% for the employees themselves and the units respectively.

The upper and lower limits of the monthly deposit of Shanghai housing provident fund in 2022.

Guangzhou has made it clear that the adjusted deposit base is not lower than the minimum wage standard of this city (the current standard is 2,300 yuan), and it is not higher than three times the average monthly salary of employees in the city in 2021, that is, 36,072 yuan.

Shenzhen has made it clear that the adjusted deposit base shall not exceed three times the average monthly salary of employees in the city in 2021 announced by the statistics department of this municipality, that is, it shall not exceed 38,892 yuan. The adjusted deposit base of employees who have been employed in the unit before January 1, 2022 shall not be lower than the monthly minimum wage of the city in the previous year of 2,200 yuan, and the deposit base of new employees and newly transferred employees after January 1, 2022 shall not be lower than the monthly minimum wage of the city in 2022 of 2,360 yuan.

It can be seen that the housing provident fund can’t be paid as much as you want, and it can’t be too low or too high. The upper limit of the deposit base is generally three times the average monthly salary of employees in the previous year, while the lower limit is generally the local minimum wage.

Your housing provident fund deposit base may change from July.

The new upper and lower limits of housing provident fund deposit base are announced in various places, but whether the amount of housing provident fund deposit of individual employees changes depends on whether your housing provident fund deposit base has been adjusted.

According to the Regulations on the Management of Housing Provident Fund, the monthly contribution of employee housing provident fund is the average monthly salary of the employee in the previous year multiplied by the contribution ratio of employee housing provident fund.

When will the base of housing provident fund deposit be adjusted? Generally, it is July every year, because the housing provident fund is adjusted from July 1 of that year to June 30 of the next year.

Therefore, starting from July 2022, the deposit base of housing provident fund in many places will be adjusted to the average monthly salary of employees themselves in 2021.

For example, Shanghai has made it clear that the deposit base of employee housing provident fund will be adjusted from the average monthly salary in 2020 to the average monthly salary in 2021. Guangzhou made it clear that the deposit base of housing provident fund was adjusted to the average monthly salary of employees in 2021. Shenzhen has made it clear that from July 1, 2022, all housing provident fund deposit units should adjust and implement the adjusted housing provident fund deposit base, which is the average monthly salary of employees in 2021.

Therefore, if your average monthly salary increases in 2021, your monthly contribution of housing provident fund will also increase if the contribution ratio of housing provident fund does not decrease.

For example, if your average monthly salary is 8,000 yuan in 2020, it will rise to 9,000 yuan in 2021, and the contribution ratio has always been 12%. After the adjustment of the contribution base, the total monthly contribution of me and my company will rise from 1,920 yuan (960 yuan for individuals and 1,080 yuan for units respectively) to 2,160 yuan (240 yuan for individuals and units respectively).

How to check whether the deposit base of your housing provident fund has increased?

  The query methods are diverse.

You can check your own salary slip or consult with the handling personnel of the unit for confirmation. You can also check online, enter the official website or APP of the local provident fund management center, and log in to your personal provident fund account to check. Or through third-party applications such as Alipay, you can also call the housing provident fund hotline 12329 for telephone inquiry.

You can also choose offline inquiry and bring ID cards and other documents to the service hall of the local housing provident fund management center for inquiry. How much do you pay into the housing provident fund every month?

Ministry of Transport: The public can inquire about the online charging rate table of 29 provinces.

Passenger cars are charged accurately by mileage.

From 0: 00 on January 1st this year, all 487 provincial toll stations of expressways in 29 networked provinces across the country were cancelled. These days, many people have reported that the amount of fees charged is different from the original, and the amount of fees charged by individual vehicles is abnormal. Yesterday (5th), the relevant person in charge of the Ministry of Transport said that after the provincial toll station of the expressway was cancelled, the charging method was changed through technical means, and accurate charging was realized.

Gu Zhifeng, Director of Road Network Management Department of Highway Bureau of Ministry of Transport: For example, there may be many routes from Baoding to Shijiazhuang, so we used to charge by the shortest route. So now, after the reform, the provincial border station is abolished, and we all charge according to the exact route, so some vehicles may seem to have higher fees than the original ones, but in fact they have returned to the level where they should pay, which embodies the principle of paying more for multiple roads.

Gu Zhifeng said that after the cancellation of the provincial toll station of the expressway, along the expressway, whenever there is a change in traffic volume, new portal frames are built, and each portal frame is responsible for collecting the fees of the section where it is located, realizing accurate charging by sections, that is, how much money to pay for how many roads to take. Therefore, the toll of vehicles that walk a long section between two points will increase compared with the toll charged according to the shortest path before. In addition, the rounding rules of the toll amount have also been adjusted from the original rounding to "0 yuan and 5 yuan" to "points" for ETC vehicles and "yuan" for manual toll vehicles.

Take the car leaving the city for Huangcun via Jingkai Expressway as an example. If it leaves at the exit of Gaomidian, the total toll is about 9.4 kilometers. According to the past standard toll, it is 5 yuan. If it is about 4.7 yuan according to the accurate charging rules, the toll will be reduced. If you drive out at the Jinhua Temple exit, it is about 11.8 kilometers in total. According to the past standard toll, it is 5 yuan. If it is about 5.9 yuan according to the accurate toll rules, the toll will increase.

29 provinces open expressway toll rate table

Yesterday, the Ministry of Transport said that 29 provinces have published the toll rate tables on the Internet, and the public can make public inquiries, and the charging standards for some buses have been reduced.

After the implementation of the newly revised Classification of Toll Vehicles on Toll Roads in 2019, the charging standards (charging rates and charging coefficients) of buses in various places have not been adjusted, and they are still implemented in accordance with the original approval documents, and the charging standards of various types of buses have not been improved. At present, 29 provinces have published the fee rate table online, and the public can make public inquiries.

The newly revised standard reduces the number of minibuses with 8 passengers and 9 passengers from the original class 2 to class 1. Starting from January 1st this year, 8-seat and 9-seat minibuses will be charged vehicle tolls in accordance with Class I passenger cars.

Gu Zhifeng, Director of Road Network Management Department of Highway Bureau of Ministry of Transport: We unified it into a class of vehicles, so that its traffic will basically be reduced by at least 30% to 50%. Therefore, these vehicles are actually the beneficiaries of this reform. There are also some provinces that implement downshifting charges for passenger cars. For example, the second-class buses in Shanghai are charged according to the first-class buses, and the fourth-class buses in Guangdong are charged according to the third-class buses. The charging standards of the corresponding buses in these areas have also been significantly reduced.

In view of the problem of congestion in a few toll stations, the Ministry of Transport said that in the process of withdrawing stations and connecting to the grid, the Ministry of Transport has asked each toll station to keep at least one manual/mixed lane at the entrance and exit directions to meet the traffic needs of vehicles paying fees manually.

Gu Zhifeng, Director of Road Network Management Department of Highway Bureau of Ministry of Transport: We require that this toll station must be equipped with a part of ETC dedicated lanes, and the rest should be changed into mixed lanes, that is, ETC can also pass, and manual payment can also pass. In this case, this part can be used as an adjustment.

Freight cars are charged by model instead.

After canceling the provincial toll station, when trucks pass through the expressway, the charge will be adjusted from charging by weight to charging by the number of axles (models). Many truck owners feel that the expressway charge is higher than before. The Ministry of Transport said that the truck charge is low when it is full, and it will be higher when it is empty.

Gu Zhifeng, Director of Road Network Management Department of Highway Bureau of Ministry of Transport: We calculate a deadweight tonnage by multiplying the actual deadweight of all trucks on expressways in each province by its kilometers in 2018, and based on this, we set the charging standard. Because the charging standard is formulated by each province, it is not formulated by the Ministry of Communications. In order to reduce the cost of freight logistics, our Ministry of Communications has issued a special document requesting that this standard must be 10% lower than the full load standard and not less than 10%.

According to the new charging standard, when the same truck is fully loaded with goods, the standard of charging by axle will definitely be lower than that by weight, and the charging may be higher when the truck is half-loaded or even empty.

At present, the Ministry of Transport is studying and analyzing the rate adjustment schemes in various places, urging them to strictly implement them, so as to reduce the charging standard of trucks by at least 10% compared with the full load, and never allow all places to take the opportunity to raise the charging standard and increase the burden on trucks.

Regarding the abnormal amount of truck drivers’ charges on the Internet, Gu Zhifeng said that the Ministry of Transport has sent technicians to adjust the grid-connected system.

Gu Zhifeng, Director of Road Network Management Department of Highway Bureau of Ministry of Transport: We now have this complaint channel. As long as we collect more money, all of them will be returned. This will not make the people suffer, and it is very firm. And there is no charge for this abnormal one. You are like hundreds of thousands, tens of thousands on the internet. At that time, basically all the lifts were released. After registering the car number, we can verify the situation clearly, so it is impossible to charge on the spot.

Ambulances are not free vehicles, ETC will be installed free of charge

A few days ago, the ambulance on the Shanghai Expressway was stopped by the toll station and asked to pay the toll. In this regard, the Ministry of Transport said that it has asked local transportation departments to contact hospitals, emergency centers and other units to install ETC for ambulance vehicles free of charge.

The Regulations on the Management of Toll Roads promulgated in 2004 clearly stipulates that military vehicles, vehicles of the Armed Police Force, standard police cars with uniform signs for public security organs to handle traffic accidents, perform normal patrol tasks and deal with emergencies on toll roads within their jurisdiction, and vehicles that have been approved by the transportation authorities of the State Council or the people’s governments of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government to carry out emergency rescue and disaster relief tasks are exempt from paying vehicle tolls. Vehicles of combine harvesters and transport combine harvesters (including rice transplanters) that carry out cross-regional operations are exempt from vehicle tolls.

According to the Ministry of Transport, ambulance vehicles do not belong to the scope of vehicles exempt from vehicle tolls as stipulated in the Regulations on the Administration of Toll Roads. According to the relevant policies and regulations, the new requirements for the integrated operation of national expressways after the cancellation of provincial toll stations have been cleared up and standardized by various localities.

Gu Zhifeng, Director of Road Network Management Department of Highway Bureau of Ministry of Transport: Judging from the current situation, some individual provinces carry out the method of continuing the past to provide ambulances free of charge, but according to our country’s administrative regulations, it is not stipulated.

Gu Zhifeng said that after the cancellation of the provincial border station, ambulances will travel across provinces. If the policies are not unified, one province will pay fees and the other province will be free, which will bring a lot of problems and the vehicles will not get up quickly.

Gu Zhifeng, Director of Road Network Management Department of Highway Bureau of Ministry of Transport: We all ask local transportation departments to contact hospitals, emergency centers and other units actively, and install ETC for ambulance vehicles free of charge, so that ambulances can pass quickly without stopping when passing through highway toll stations, and complete this rescue life and rescue in the first time. Therefore, the passage of ambulance vehicles is completely guaranteed. (CCTV reporter Tang Ying)

Malaysia: The Rohingya issue is a humanitarian crisis, not an internal affair of Myanmar.

CCTV News:On the 3rd, the Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement in response to the previous warning from the Myanmar government not to interfere in Myanmar’s internal affairs, saying that the issue of "Rohingya" has become an international humanitarian crisis, not Myanmar’s internal affairs.

Malaysian Foreign Ministry: The Rohingya issue threatens national security.

The statement said: As a neighbor of Myanmar in ASEAN, Malaysia is very concerned about the "Rohingya" humanitarian crisis in Myanmar, because it will affect Malaysia’s security and status. It is against this background that Malaysia approved the demonstration to support the Rohingya and protest against the Myanmar government. As a responsible member of the international community, Malaysia has the obligation to ask its ASEAN partners to take active measures to prevent the incident from getting worse; As one of the founders of ASEAN, Malaysia has always strictly adhered to the principles on which ASEAN was founded.

The statement also said: The issue of "Rohingya" in Myanmar has already posed a threat to Malaysia’s national security. At present, as many as 56,000 Rohingyas have fled to Malaysia, and tens of thousands of Rohingyas have fled to other neighboring countries, which makes this incident no longer an internal affair of Myanmar, but an international issue. The expulsion of a single nation from Myanmar shows that this is ethnic cleansing.

In the statement, the Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs also reminded the Myanmar government not to forget that in the "boat people crisis" in 2015, it was Malaysia that helped Myanmar tide over the difficulties in time and properly resolved the demonstrations of the "Rohingya" in Rakhine State, Myanmar. Malaysia believes that this incident is not related to religion, but a humanitarian crisis.

Myanmar government: non-interference in other countries’ internal affairs is the principle of ASEAN

On the 2nd, Myanmar Times quoted Wu Zhuotie, deputy director of Myanmar President’s Office, as saying: The principle of ASEAN is that member countries do not interfere in each other’s internal affairs, and Myanmar has always adhered to this principle. The recent demonstration in Malaysia in support of "Rohingya" was a carefully planned political decision, with the aim of gaining the support of the Malaysian public. This incident has nothing to do with the Myanmar government.

Malaysian Prime Minister may participate in demonstrations against the Myanmar government.

Ma Xinshe quoted Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Zahid as saying on November 26th: Malaysian Prime Minister Najib will join other government leaders in supporting the Rohingya people and protesting against the Myanmar government. The demonstration will be held in Malaysia on December 4th.

Rakhine State in Myanmar is located in the southwest of Myanmar, bordering Bangladesh. Most of the local residents are "Rohingyas" who believe in Islam. Because the Burmese government refused to accept the Rohingya as its citizens, and there are huge religious and racial differences between the Rohingya and the Burmese, the conflicts between the two sides have been constant for a long time and the contradictions have continued to heat up. In 2012, large-scale riots occurred in some towns and villages in Rakhine State, killing hundreds of people. In November 2016, a terrorist attack occurred in Rakhine State, killing 34 people. The Myanmar government later said that most of the masterminds of the attack were "Rohingya people". (CCTV reporter Zhu Xuesong Toby Lin)

Interview with reporters in Hong Kong: Hong Kong people oppose justice in their hearts.

In April 2019, the "Chen Tongjia case" in Hong Kong triggered the "anti-amendment" storm. From the initial demonstrations to the present violent chaos in Hong Kong, the incident has gradually escalated, causing widespread concern at home and abroad.

Yesterday, a reporter from Global Times, who had just returned from an interview in Hong Kong, visited the People’s Network Power Forum to tell netizens about the truest Hong Kong today and restore the Hong Kong people in the "Eye of the Storm" center.

Scene 1: The 73-year-old man was blocked when he didn’t receive the leaflet.

I have been to Hong Kong many times before, and I have observed several peaceful demonstrations, but what I never expected was that Hong Kong would become like this. There are demonstrators every day, but they are actually thugs. They do things that have no bottom line, such as attacking the Liaison Office, smashing the base station, spilling ink on the national flag and so on. Once, I saw a 73-year-old man being blocked at the airport. The reason was that he did not receive their leaflets, but knocked them off. They chased the old man angrily and chased him out for hundreds of meters. They (demonstrators) are still "touching porcelain", lying on the ground, saying that the old man hit someone … While doing such a thing, they talk about "democracy and freedom", and the freedom in their hearts is "If you don’t agree with me, you should die and be beaten". How ridiculous this democracy is!

Scene 2: 2 million people marching? Mobs hold Hong Kong people hostage, causing dissatisfaction.

Hong Kong now has a population of about 7.5 million, and the opposition will make all the marchers bigger, saying that the water content has tripled. In this way, they are trying to make some Hong Kong people who don’t understand the actual situation mistakenly think, "Did I not attend? Did I miss something? Have I become a minority? " Thereby creating psychological pressure.

What we see in western media and Hong Kong media is absolutely untrue. In my opinion, many public opinions in Hong Kong have not been fully aroused. In the past, the people of Hong Kong did not dare to resist, because those thugs were armed to the teeth, and if you saw the tools they brought, you would shudder. For example, steel pipes, scissors, sharp pointed umbrellas, and hiking poles with sharp lower ends. The trekking poles have been snapped up by them. Who can be afraid of ordinary citizens? When they met, many ordinary citizens were silent, or wronged themselves and forced to make a statement.

Hong Kong demonstrators (real shot by Global Times reporter)

The opposition’s encirclement of Hong Kong people in this way has aroused people’s dissatisfaction and resistance. In local news reports, what you see is a full picture of the parade crowd, but what you can’t see is the businesses closed by the roadside due to the parade, the ordinary people who go to other places for vacation, the occupied subway station, and the scene where people can’t go to work. Forced to do nothing, the people of Hong Kong have begun to resist and dare to hit those men in black. They didn’t dare before, but now this happens, which shows that public opinion is gradually emerging.

Scene 3: "Without us, there would be no Hong Kong." The Hong Kong police are convinced that they have done the right thing.

Before, at the press conference held by the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office, I thought it was particularly accurate to give high praise to the Hong Kong police. I saw some policemen in front, so I will tell you a detail. What is the temperature in Hong Kong in July and August? Even if you go out in short sleeves, you will get soaked immediately. The police in the street, especially riot police, are always armed to the teeth, covered up and wearing those big and heavy riot helmets when dealing with such things. Not only do they have to bear the mob attack, but the most hateful thing is that the personal information of the police, including the family members, has been started and spread on the Internet. A policeman’s family said, "I dare not order takeout because I am afraid of being poisoned."

Now the opposition in Hong Kong has directed public opinion against the police, which is very serious. In addition to high-intensity work, there are unfair trials by public opinion and the media, and you have to worry about the safety of your family. How long can this situation last? What the opposition wants most is to make the police crazy and become anarchy. An interviewee told me that the purpose of the opposition is to make the police unable to hold on and quit one day, so that Hong Kong will be really chaotic. Another policeman told me, "If there is no us in Hong Kong one day, there will be no us." He said this sentence really hides great heartache and worry.

Hong Kong police and children (real shot by Global Times reporter)

This photo is very informative: there are three parties, one is a child, such a small child, he should have watched the ball game and played games. It was during the summer vacation that he held up such a political slogan and directly accused the policeman of humiliating the Hong Kong police. Ironically, the policeman he scolded next to him had to protect his safety because the child was in the crowd. The policeman looked helpless, and everyone around him applauded the child. This makes this child have a very distorted value from an early age: am I doing this right? I talked to this policeman, "Do you feel the feeling that the child said?" He said, "I won’t feel ashamed. I know what they said is wrong." I think what he said is very weighty, which is an important reason why the police are still insisting on maintaining law and order, because the police know that there is 1.4 billion Chinese behind them. Mobs are losing popularity and their law enforcement is more decisive.

Scene 4: The mob pretends to be the victim, and the Western media "pulls the frame"

I say two things.

One is from Yuen Long. What they called "indiscriminate attacks" said that those people in white clothes were triads and beat people whenever they saw them. But the reality is that many people who were beaten by these people in white clothes were photographed before changing their black clothes in the subway and replacing them with ordinary people. The Hong Kong media did not see the mob provoking in advance, claiming to tear down the ancestral temple in Yuen Long. All I saw were people in white beating citizens, but before they threw things, provoked and besieged the village, neither Hong Kong media nor Western media could see them. This is an example of the media’s "bias".

Western media "biased" (real shot by Global Times reporter)

Another example is that when the police clear the scene, they always have to overcome it first. It is the camera of the media standing in front of the mob. All western media always aim at the police. They most want to see the scene where the police raise their guns, and then dim the light to make it evil. It seems that this is the police suppressing the citizens. They will never photograph those who are dressed in black, wearing masks, wearing sunglasses, holding sticks, stones and glasses in their hands. What is the video cut out like this? You can imagine. I saw some external forces and some western media in Hong Kong, and they were very guilty when they took pictures with their cameras. I once saw a foreigner holding a camera on his chest to shoot. Who would normally shoot like this? The Hong Kong police are also alert, and they will be reprimanded and leave immediately.

Lens 5: The national flag rises again, which is fair and comfortable.

When we learned that patriots would raise the national flag again where the mob threw it into the sea, the reporter in front of us had actually been busy all day, but he still stood there. At half past twelve at night, those patriots finally came and the national flag was raised again.

At that time, there was a female reporter with tears in her eyes. The people present spontaneously played the national anthem with their mobile phones and sang the national anthem together. In a distant place, there was a light in front of a small shop, and a Hong Kong citizen saluted the national flag at the door. Therefore, there are many patriots, so we should not be misled by the opposition and be fair and comfortable!
